Newland of Glengrove

Glengrove Scottish Highland Fold was established in 1989 and is one of South Australia's largest, offering some of the finest Highland Cattle available in Australia. With the use of Artificial Insemination and Embryo Transfer programs, we can offer a variety of bloodlines at very competitive prices.

Doctor John & Glenyes Pickering are the owners of Highland Park. John is the past President of the Australian Highland Cattle Society (Inc.)

Highland Park is located on Clayton Road halfway between Finniss and Clayton (approx. 8km from Finniss) on the Fleureiu Penninsula. Foundation females were sourced and purchased from the Ardvorlich Fold, Victoria, together with some animals derived from the old Highland cattle in South Australia. Initially extensive embryo transfer programmes together with AI were carried out.
